Wales

Shan, Barker's Lane. Year 4 are very excited to be part of the COOKIT project. We love eating and tasting new recipes and are looking forward to sharing a traditional Welsh recipe with other European schools.
I hope you like one of our classmates in her Welsh costume sitting in our sensory garden celebrating Saint David's Day.

  1. What a wonderful National costume and I can almost smell the perfume from the flowers and plants in your sensory garden.

You should tell us the importance of daffodils in your garden ?

  2. Well, I read that the Saint David's Day is the feast day of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales, and falls on 1 March each year. Is a special costume for this day?
