Austria
Bundes-Bildungsanstalt für Kindergartenpädagogik We are a secondary school training future nursery nurses or kindergarten teachers. We have approximately 400 students (390 young ladies and 10 young gentlemen). All our students have to work on their vocational education and on the preparation for their A-Level exams.
Belgium
Instituut Bert Carlier. It’s a special school for special people. We have students from 13 – 21 years old
Bulgaria
There are 450 students in our school. They are from the 1st to 12th grades. The town is in the Rhodopa mountains , about 850 m above the see level. Rakitovo is one of the poorest towns in Bulgaria. I have a dream to show a part of the world to my students even by means of the Internet. We are ready to cook and to exchange recipes.
Cyprus
: Latsia Gymnasium school was founded in 1991. During the school year 1991 – 1992 there were only the first and second classes. There were eight classrooms and the Art room, which was used as Design, and Technology room as well. That year we had 229 pupils and twenty-one teachers. This year (2008 – 2009) 554 students attend the lessons and 65 specialised teachers are employed

We are a school (Basic Nine Year School) in a small town in the north-west of our country. The specialization of some classes is IT. There are about 400 pupils from the age of 6 to the age of 15

St Lukes school. 160 pupils with learning difficulties some with additional needs such as Autism and hearing impairments. Pupils aged 10 to 16. Rural location 30 miles north of London.
Estonia
Our school is for children with "special needs". There are 40 students aged between 7 to 18 and they are all suffering from mental disorder.We are located in a small sea-side town called Pärnu. Pärnu is well-known for its picturesque beach which attracts many tourists in the summer from all over Europe.Our children are very interested in drawing and doing some handycrafts. As it seems, doing activities related to these both two, they are open and willing to express themselves trough their work.

Germany
We are in the south of Bavaria, which is a part in the south of Germany. We are a school for mental handicapped students aged from 6 - 16 years (class 1-9) and we have 230 students and 35 teachers. Our students come from Eichstätt (which is our center) and the surrounding (about 30 km in circle). We have geological interesting landscape. At Eichstätt was dug the Archeopteryx, the first bird.
Greece
We have eleven classrooms, ICT, physics-chemistry laboratory and a library.We also have two playfields, basket and volleyball courts and a gym. We have 290 students from 11 up to 15 years old and 30 teachers. The pupils are taught two languages, English and French or German and participate in many school activities, school celebrations, basket volley and athletic events. Our school has participated in Comenius projects and in many etwinning projects, because we believe that the school should break the barriers between countries and bring together all the young people of Europe. The European dimension in our every day life can begin from the school.

Istituto comprensivovia Baccano. Our school has three seats: one for the nursery school and the primary school in Via Baccano 10. One for the junior high in Via Baccano 38 And one a little further in Prima Porta both for Nursery and Primary school. Our aim is to educate to an active, aware and responsible participation. We work to create a deeper understanding of all the people in the area, opening the school to our territory. We think our students must believe in themselves as builders of their future.
Latvia
Zakumuiza Elementary school was founded in year 1986. There are 126 students and 20 teachers in Zakumuiza Elementary school this school year. Students are 7-16 years old. Our school provides general elementary education programme.
Malta
St Thomas More College, Fgura Primary A is a State Primary School for Kindergarten and Years 1, 2 and 3. The Kindergarten children are aged 3 to 5 years and the primary children are aged 5 to 8 years. The school population consists of 200 Kindergarten pupils and 340 Primary pupils.
Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
"Saint Kliment Ohridski" school is located in the NE region of Macedonia. Delchevo is small town of about 17,000. The school that is located in the center of town teaches general education to those in grades 1-9. There are 794 students who learn in the Maceonian language using the cyrillic alphabet. Some of the classes we offer are Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Sport, Crafts, English, History etc.
Norway
Hemne Videregående Skole. An upper secondary school, offering both academic and vocational studies to students, from the age of 16 – 19. The school has roughly 200 pupils and 40 members of staff. It is situated in a rural location, approximately 100 kilometres south of Trondheim (mid-Norway).

Portugal
Escola Secundária com 3º CEB da Batalha, Rua da Freiria. Our school is situated in a little village, which is a tourist place, called Batalha. Our village has the Monastery of the Dominicans of Batalha (World Heritage site). Most of the pupils are from the rural areas around the village.
Romania
COLEGIUL TEHNIC RALUCA RIPAN. The IES Technical College of Food Industry "Raluca Ripan" from Cluj-Napoca is a representative centre for the technical pre-university education in Cluj, one of the biggest cities from our country. This college of 600 students is the only one in this region and it is meant for training specialists in food industry domain.Our school main aim is to obtain the best educational results and to recognize the European approach to teaching methods and lifelong self-education.
Scotland
Yester Primary School is located in south east Scotland, around 25 miles east of the capital city, Edinburgh. There are 160 children in the school.
Slovenia
Our school has 390 children at ages 6-14. recently celebrated 100 years of existence. The school is in Radeče a small town situated where the stream Sopota flows into the Sava. The development of the town in the past is the result of the lively traffic on the river Sava. Today Radeče is famous for its paper industry.
Spain
CEIP Asunción Rincón is an Infant and Primary school in the centre of Madrid. We have about 350 students, aged from 3 to 12 years old.We have a bilingual curriculum, Spanish-English and are twinned with a school in York, England.
Sweden
Our school is on the island of Fotö, a small island on the west coast of Sweden, outside Göteborg. Preschool, recreational, pre-and elementary school are connected to the school. The school is beautifully on the top of the very southernmost of the 10 islands in the municipality of Öckerö, municipality. The school is a small unit with 50 pupils and we work together in a team responsible for integrated education in the age classes from pre-school years to six. We also have children with special needs included in our classes.
Turkey
İstek Bilge Kagan Primary School is located in the city centre of Istanbul, the number of students in primary is 506, aged from 7 to 14. Our main aim is , to arise both intercultural awareness and social responsibilities in our students, “love, respect and peace” are the most important values that we mainly believe every individual on earth should have. These values will help the next generations to plant the seeds of a better world.
Wales
We are a 220 pupil primary school for children 3 years to 11 years situated on the outskirts of Wrexham. Wrexham is the largest town in North Wales, ten miles from Chester but with easy access to the Welsh coast and mountains. Barker’s Lane is proud of its outdoor facilities which include a forest school and allotments. We have also developed Global links with a school in Ghana and are coordinating a Comenius project ‘Food for Thought’ with 8 other European schools.
